Gaming Goddamn Motherfucker Two Worlds is Broken!!!!!

This shit is fucking pissing me off! Two Worlds is one of my top favorite games of all time, and I can no longer play it, apparently.

So, I made a post about how I'm trying to switch to Linux to get all my games running in Linux, and break away from the toxic dependency I had on Microsoft Windows. Well, I'm running into a ton of issues getting shit to run in Linux; it's a shit fucking operating system, and it's pissing me off!!!!

It was a pain in the ass to get vanilla Morrowind running in Linux, and Lutris is completely fucking useless for installing anything from GoG, even though it supposedly(?!) has GoG support. Yeah, right! But once I did get it running, after so many hair-pulling hours of frustration with tweaking the damn settings in Bottles (yeah, I had to use bottles to get it to run; the only thing Lutris seems to be good for at the moment is running Minecraft), I tried running the Construction Set, to make a simple mod, just to make sure I can make my simple mods that I like to play with, and install them into Morrowind. But the stupid fucking bitch motherfucker Construction Set won't save my goddamn mod! I've spent the last week, week and a half, trying to get the damn thing working, and it simply refuses to save my file!!!!

And now, tonight, I decided to try to get a win, and get a different game running, because I can't get the stupid Construction Set working, so I tried installing Two Worlds in both bottles and lutris, and it won't work in either. Lutris refuses to even run the GoG installer (GoG support my ass!!!!!), and in bottles, there's no sound. Here's the kicker, though: I can't go back to Windows, because Windows 11 broke Two Worlds, as well: it won't let me save my game!!!!

What the fuck is this stupid fucking bullshit?! I fucking hate technology! I hate proprietary software! I hate fucking Microsoft and their complete enshittification of Windows! And I fucking hate Linux, and the lack of plug-and-play support for gaming on the stupid fucking operating system! None of this compatibility shit works! None of the backward compatibility in Windows 11 works! I hate this fucking world, and I hate fucking technology! I just want to toss all my computers out my goddamn window, right now, I am so fed up with this bullshit!!!!!!!!!! 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬

That would be ideal. Or maybe, since Microsoft technically has a PC gaming monopoly, the government should hold them to account, and ensure compatibility with all games, past and present, on their systems.

I actually finally got both Morrowind's Construction Set and Two Worlds working in Linux. Though the construction set requires a stupid workaround - you have to enable autosaves, wait for an autosave, then go into the file explorer, rename it to what you want your mod to be named, and then reopen the construction set, selecting that as the main mod to edit.

But now, I tried to get Fallout 3's GECK working, as well as Amid Evil, and I learned that my dual-GPU system is only using the intel iGPU, and not the Nvidia dGPU - which is apparently a known issue with Nvidia and Linux compatibility, that I wish I had known about beforehand. So I've been tinkering with Nvidia, trying to get my games to use it, but none of my Linux applications will use it - and if they do, I just get a blank, black screen. But I have to figure it out because the Intel GPU is trash at running Amid Evil, and doesn't even have ray tracing. The Nvidia card, on the other hand, is more than capable of running Amid Evil, if only I could get the damn game to actually use the correct card! I'm tired of this shit, man - from one problem to another, it's just endless.

Oh, and messing about with my graphics cards got all the few games I previously got working to break. I literally cannot describe the pain I'm in, right now.
