It’s no secret this forum’s activity has been dead for a long time now, and my own decreased activity has surely not helped that state of affairs. My co administrator @somedayman AKA MrCarroll is no longer with us. Some of you here already know why, and to those of you who don’t he requested in his final post that it not be mentioned publicly, but I will say this much. He was a highly intelligent user and someone I came to consider a good friend. He had some ideas on how to help this forum grow, but unfortunately we’ll never get to see them now.
In Carroll’s place @Tabula Rasa is now co administrator here. I know he’s had some ideas for this forum as well, and I know he can help me with some much needed updates. I’m not going to get my hopes up again on the prospect of seeing drastically increased membership and activity here, but we might be able to spruce this place up a bit. I thought about stepping down a while back and naming a new head admin, but the truth is this isn’t even my forum to give up because it’s technically Robtical’s even though he hasn’t been here.
I will say that if this forum is inactive as it is now come December 2026 and/or if Robtical continues to remain absent between now and then, I’ve decided I will not renew the domain to this site like last time. I hope it doesn’t come to that, but if it does I would start a group chat for those of you who’d want to stay in touch with me.
